ES9038Pro converter

The 9000Q carries the 32-bit, eight-channel ES9038Pro converter. USB accepts PCM up to 768 kHz and DSD512, the optical and coaxial inputs up to 192 kHz. Distortion stays below 0.001% at 0 dBFS.

Balanced XLR path

The balanced path takes signal-to-noise beyond 117 dB A-weighted in XLR Direct mode. RCA and XLR outputs drive one or two power amplifiers. The analogue volume control works across four channels.

4.3-inch screen

A 4.3-inch IPS screen at 800 x 480 shows source, volume and signal format. The two rotary controls reach the settings without going through a menu. A VU meter and an equaliser are available on screen.

Rear connections of the 9000Q, USB and phono inputs

MM phono and headphones

The moving-magnet phono stage takes a turntable without an external preamplifier. The current-feedback headphone amplifier has its own circuit. Bluetooth 5.1 handles aptX HD and LDAC.
