Built-in ground filter

The Clear Beyond Power XL takes the Clear Beyond Power and scales it up: conductors, shielding and filtering. A toroidal ground filter sits in the termination and works with a ground conductor extension system. The path to ground thus reaches three times the length of the cable. Each Grade 1 tinned copper conductor, 99.9999% pure, also has its own shield.

The premium E-5 plugs of the XL are soldered, crimped and assembled by hand in Bandon, Oregon. Cardas presents this cable as the most sophisticated of its power range.

Resonance-damped E-5 shell

The shell of the E-5 is non-magnetic and designed not to resonate. It clamps cables of 7.5 to 21.5 mm in diameter by screw.

Silver and rhodium contacts

The silver and rhodium plated contacts of the E-5 carry the high current that the largest amplifiers demand. The same cable gives sensitive sources a stable, low-noise supply.
