A single 12AU7 tube

The gain stage is built around one 12AU7 tube working alongside transistor circuits. Frequency response runs from 10 Hz to 20 kHz and distortion stays below 0.05 %. Output impedance is 250 ohms.

MM and MC cartridges

Gain reaches 40 dB in MM and 60 dB in MC, for input sensitivities of 58 mV and 6.8 mV. Signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 81 dB in MM and 69 dB in MC. Maximum power consumption is only 15 watts.

Adjustment by DIP switches

DIP switches set the load the cartridge sees. Input impedance is adjustable from 99 to 1000 ohms in MC, capacitance from 15 to 350 pF in MM. A USB output digitises records at up to 24 bit and 192 kHz.

Separate power supply box

The power supply has its own enclosure, keeping the transformer away from the audio circuits. Each box measures 13 x 9.5 x 22.5 cm, for a combined weight of 2.2 kg. Both black and silver finishes are available.
