The two black cases, phono stage and power supply

External power supply

The power supply occupies a separate case, linked by a five-pin DIN connection. Moving the transformer away from the phono circuit limits its radiation into a signal of a few millivolts. Each case measures 11.2 x 6 x 12.6 cm.

Silver version, seen from the front

MM and MC switching

Gain is set to 40 dB for moving magnet or 60 dB for moving coil. Load impedance shifts from 47 kilohms to 100 ohms depending on the mode. Input capacitance is fixed at 300 picofarads.

Noise and bandwidth

The signal-to-noise ratio reaches 83 dB in moving magnet and 70 dB in moving coil. Bandwidth covers 10 Hz to 20 kHz at ±0.5 dB. Distortion stays below 0.05 % and output impedance is 250 ohms.

Two stackable cases

The phono stage and its power supply share the same 11.2 x 6 x 12.6 cm format and stack on top of each other. The set comes in black and silver. Maximum consumption is 10 watts.
