A switch on the rear panel moves the Phono Box from the MM input, 47 kohms and 40 dB of gain, to the MC input, 100 ohms and 60 dB. It gives a phono input back to amplifiers that no longer have one. Its analogue output connects to a line input such as AUX.
Low-noise ICs and RIAA equalisation accurate within 0.5 dB ensure clean playback, with a 94 dBA noise floor in MM. The ultra-low-impedance output stage and gold-plated RCA sockets preserve the signal. The 10.3 cm casing sits close to the turntable, with a black or silver faceplate.
