The BONN N8C distributes the network signal to eight Gigabit ports, each with LEDs that provide information on the activity and the speed of connection. Placed between the router and audio devices, it attenuates signal noise and packet errors that disrupt the flow playback. Transport gains stability, and reading readability.
A high precision TCXO oscillator cadence the switch from inside the chassis, without depending on an external source. A dedicated clock module is due to the disturbance of the network circuit. A physical selector allows you to choose between this internal clock and an external clock, depending on the installation.
An BNC input accepts an external master clock at 25 MHz. Silent Angel retained this frequency because it corresponds to the basic frequency of Ethernet: the synchronization then takes place without intermediate conversion. The builder announces increased network stability and reduced phase noise.
The housing is machined in an aluminum alloy that protects the electronics from vibration, dust and electric radiation. Food, medical design according to the manufacturer, isolates the electrical noise of the network. The device measures 20 cm from side for 6.2 cm high and is content with a continuous input of 12 V, 1 A.
