Each block delivers 300 watts under 4 ohms and only a single speaker. The output stage uses MOS-FET transistors, supported by a 550 VA toroidal transformer and more than 40,000 μF filtering. Two separate power supplies separate the input stage from the power stage.
The block accepts a symmetrical link in XLR or asymmetrical in RCA, to choose. Both entrances are golden. The speaker terminals accept the bi-wiring, the red and white pairs being connected in parallel internally.
The principle of the monobloc invites to put each device closer to its enclosure, which shortens the path of the electrical power. The cooling is done from the underside, then the hot air escapes with the hood slots: the device therefore requires free air under its feet. The chassis is made of lacquered steel sheet, brushed aluminum facade.
The air function lights up and turns off the block from a compatible AVM preamplifier, without additional control cable: the signal travel by the existing audio link. Three modes remain available to choose from, by signal detection, by control voltage or in permanent operation. Protections monitor DC voltage, temperature and short circuit.
