The BC13 coaxial

The BC13 is the core of the TC23 triaxial driver, the one fitted to La Sphère and L'Océan. Tweeter and midrange radiate from the same point, so the soundstage stays put when you move along the sofa. An aluminium waveguide, drawn for this model, ties the BC13 to the bass driver: the crossover cuts at 800 Hz and again at 3,500 Hz.

Honeycomb bass cone

The 17ND36 was drawn for the Murano alone. Its concave honeycomb cone stays rigid under long excursion, and its long voice coil sits in a 45 mm magnetic gap; the motor assembly around it weighs four kilos on its own. That is what takes a 38.5 cm cabinet down to 48 Hz.
