The 805 D5 bookshelf speaker is the most compact model of the 800 Series Diamond. Designed for smaller listening spaces, it plays well beyond its size.
The diamond dome tweeter sits in a Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top machined from the solid and set on the cabinet. It extends the bandwidth to 28 kHz with a delicacy only the 800 Series reaches.
A 165 mm Continuum cone driver handles bass and midrange in a reverse-wrap cabinet. The anti-resonance plug and the Flowport extend the response down to 34 Hz at -6 dB.
The 805 D5 comes into its own on the FS-805 D5 stands built for it. Offered in Stealth Black, Warm White, Light Walnut or Dark Walnut with matching Connolly leather, it shows that a compact cabinet need not cost composure.
