The Wharfedale DENTON 1S is a two-way bookshelf and wall-mount speaker with a 6.5 inch coaxial driver. It covers 50 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB) and is sold individually.
The coaxial driver houses two transducers on a single axis: a 6.5 inch (165 mm) reinforced polypropylene cone surrounds a 1 inch (25 mm) silk dome. The crossover is at 2.6 kHz. Response covers 50 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB), with bass extension down to 45 Hz (-6 dB).
The 11.5 L cabinet measures 33.0 cm high, 23.6 cm wide and 25.4 cm deep, terminals included. Each speaker weighs 6.8 kg. It comes in black, white and blue.
A 9.5 mm (3/8 inch) thread on the rear panel takes a wall bracket. The speaker mounts on the wall, with no stand or furniture.
Sensitivity reaches 88 dB (2.83 V, 1 m) and peak level 95 dB. Nominal impedance of 8 Ω drops to a minimum of 4.5 Ω. You drive the speaker with a 30 to 100 W amplifier.
