Wilson Exclusive Line EL-4: two-way bass-reflex bookshelf speaker in high-gloss lacquer. A 130 mm mid-woofer and a 25 mm dome cover 50 Hz to 20 kHz.
The cabinet receives a piano-like high-gloss lacquer, in black or white. The carefully applied varnish returns sharp reflections on the sides. The speaker measures 17.3 cm wide by 28.8 cm high: it fits on a shelf or a low cabinet.
The 130 mm driver covers the midrange and the bass. Its rigid cone has a foam phase correction. The bass-reflex port opens at the rear of the cabinet, and the response goes down to 50 Hz (±3 dB).
A soft 25 mm dome takes over the top of the spectrum. The crossover joins it to the mid-woofer at 2,400 Hz. The response rises to 20 kHz, and the maximum level reaches 105 dB.
The heathered grey fabric grille, marked with the Wilson logo, is ordered separately under the name Exclusive 4 Grill. At the back, the terminals accept banana plugs. With 88 dB sensitivity and 4 to 8 ohms, the speaker suits amplifiers from 25 to 100 W.
