DAC amplifier Aurender X725. Thought to accompany a server Aurender in a proximity system.

The X725 brings amplification and digital conversion together in a compact aluminium chassis. Its front is limited to a volume dial and a standby button. It sits alongside a server from the brand in a near-field system.
The speaker terminals occupy the rear panel, on either side. A USB input and an optical input take the digital source. The supply accepts mains from 200 to 240 volts.
The main circuit board runs the full width of the chassis, with its power supply set apart from the audio section. The layout stays accessible, with no flying leads. The case handles dissipation on its own.
The compact chassis sits on a desk or a shelf without dominating the space. Its silver finish follows that of the servers in the range. The unit is meant for near-field listening.
