Internal construction of the Audiolab 8300MB amplifier

Bridged construction

The 8300MB brings two complete amplifiers, bridge-coupled, into a single case. That architecture doubles the voltage available at the speaker terminals. The compact 216 mm chassis sits close to the loudspeaker.

Two hundred and fifty watts

The 8300MB delivers 250 W RMS into 8 ohms and 350 W RMS into 4 ohms. Peak power reaches 450 W RMS into 4 ohms. Signal-to-noise stands at 110 dB.

One block per channel

Each loudspeaker gets its own amplifier, power supply included. Physically separating the channels removes any crosstalk between them. Frequency response holds at −0.3 dB from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

RCA and XLR inputs

The balanced XLR input suits long cable runs and balanced preamplifiers. The single-ended RCA input remains available for a conventional source. The binding posts accept heavy-gauge cable.
