Audiolab 6000A integrated amplifier, front view

Fifty watts per channel

The 6000A delivers 2 x 50 W into 8 ohms and 2 x 75 W into 4 ohms. The Class AB power stage is built from discrete components. Distortion stays below 0.003% at 1 kHz into 40 W.

ES9018K2M converter

The ES9018K2M converter handles four digital inputs up to 192 kHz. Distortion measures less than 0.0006% at 0 dBFS and signal-to-noise exceeds 112 dB A-weighted. A dedicated clock limits jitter ahead of conversion.

Moving-magnet phono stage

The phono stage takes a turntable without an external preamplifier, with 55 dB of gain. Input sensitivity is 3.1 mV into 47 kilohms. Signal-to-noise reaches 76 dB A-weighted.

Dedicated headphone amplifier

The headphone output has its own circuit, separate from the power stage. Its 2.35 ohm output impedance suits headphones from 20 to 600 ohms. Distortion stays below 0.01% at 50 mW.
