The Void Acoustics Air Motion V2 passive PA speaker combines three conical horns: a 12-inch woofer, an 8-inch midrange and a 1.5-inch driver. It disperses 60° × 50° and mounts on the ceiling, a truss or a pole.

Three conical horns

Three transducers, each loaded by its own conical horn: a 12-inch woofer, an 8-inch midrange and a 1.5-inch compression driver. The conical geometry stabilises directivity and gives precise control of the beam width. The result stays clear and even across the whole listening area.

60° × 50° dispersion

The radiation pattern covers 60° horizontally and 50° vertically, for controlled coverage of a bar, a terrace or a room. The response runs from 135 Hz to 20 kHz, with a maximum level of 132 dB continuous and 138 dB peak. Sensitivity reaches 106 dB (1 W, 1 m) for the woofer and 108 dB for the mid-high section.

Mounting and amplification

The built-in mounting system allows suspension from the ceiling, a truss or a pole with Void brackets. At 35.4 kg, the speaker takes two people to handle. The woofer handles 500 W AES and the mid-high section 250 W AES at 8 Ω: Void recommends a Bias Q1.5+ amplifier or higher, with an optimised FIR preset. Two locking 4-pin connectors provide the input and the link to the next speaker.

Composite shell, RAL finishes

The low-resonance fibreglass composite horns have a smooth cellulose finish. The whole unit measures 854 × 672 × 660 mm. The range comes as standard in red, black or white, and RAL and KROME finishes are available on request.
