Seven-core geometry, shielded

The Elite leaves three-conductor construction behind for a seven-core geometry — six of 1.25 mm² and one of 3.75 mm² — in silver-plated 99.9999 % oxygen-free copper insulated with FEP. An earthed copper braid shield keeps common-mode noise off the live and neutral conductors. The connectors are 24-carat gold plated and the cable is rated 16 A for fifteen millimetres of diameter. The IEC C19 termination feeds high-current components, where a C13 no longer suffices.
