OPTICON LCR MK2, three-quarter view, Tobacco Oak finish

Twelve and a Half Centimetres Deep

The OPTICON LCR MK2 fits within 128 mm of depth and mounts on a wall or stands on a shelf. DALI gives a rear wall distance of 0 to 10 cm: it is made to work flat against the wall. The cabinet measures 482 x 285 x 128 mm for 8 kg.

Three Roles

The same speaker serves as left front, centre or right, which gives the three front channels one timbre. It mounts horizontally or vertically. Sensitivity is 89 dB, the highest in the series.

Hybrid Treble, Dome and Ribbon

The 29 mm soft dome and the 17 x 45 mm ribbon share the top of the band. The crossover sits at 2800 and 14000 Hz, two ways plus a half. Response reaches up to 30 kHz and down to 70 Hz at plus or minus 3 dB.

6.5-inch Woofer

A single 6.5-inch bass/mid driver works below the tweeter module, with bass reflex tuning at 45 Hz. Maximum output is 109 dB at one metre and power handling runs from 30 to 150 W into 4 ohms. Single wire connection.
