The AP 1.2 adopts the bevelled silhouette characteristic of Piega's compact speakers, in aluminium. This angled enclosure prevents internal standing waves and can be placed next to a television, as a centre or rear surround speaker. Three finishes are available: silver, black and white.
The two-way system pairs the LDR 2642 MK II ribbon tweeter with a Piega-exclusive MDS mid-woofer. This combination delivers a precise sound image and detailed reproduction across the full frequency range, from 50 Hz to 50 kHz.
This compact speaker accepts amplifiers from 20 to 150 watts, with a 4 ohm impedance and 89 dB sensitivity. It can be used in stereo as well as for the centre or rear surround channel, alone or paired with a subwoofer.
Its multi-connectors make connection easy in a stereo or home cinema system. Supplied with an adjustable wall bracket, it can be placed on a shelf as well as on a dedicated stand, depending on the room layout.
