Q Acoustics 3050c floorstanding speaker, with two 142 mm C3 midbass drivers and a sealed 22 mm tweeter. It reaches down to 42 Hz (-6 dB) and stands on spikes, with a rear stabiliser.

The C3 midbass driver uses a single-piece curved cone profile. It combines the bass stiffness of a straight cone with the midrange control of a flared cone. Large magnets coupled to the voice coils tighten the bass and limit harmonic distortion. The speaker has two of them, 142 mm each, and its response extends from 42 Hz to 30 kHz (-6 dB).
The 22 mm tweeter is hermetically sealed and suspended clear of the baffle. Neither the internal cabinet pressure nor the neighbouring midbass driver makes it vibrate. Its chamber is vented to lower distortion, and the crossover hands it the signal from 2.4 kHz.
In a floorstanding speaker, internal pressure creates standing waves and coloration. HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser) tubes inside the cabinet neutralise this pressure and smooth the frequency response. The usable volume reaches 41.6 L per speaker, with a sensitivity of 90 dB (2.83 V, 1 m).
The 3050c comes in Satin Black, Satin White, Claro Walnut and Pin Oak, that is two wood finishes, one light and one dark. A single-piece trim ring surrounds the drivers, in satin nickel, or satin chrome on the white model. Each speaker measures 1021 × 315 × 316 mm, spikes and stabiliser included, and weighs 17.8 kg.
