DALI EPIKORE 9 floorstanding speaker, four-way crossover, two 8-inch woofers, a 6.5-inch midrange and the EVO-K tweeter module. Sold individually, four finishes.

The EPIKORE 9 splits the spectrum four ways, at 400, 3100 and 12500 Hz. The two 8-inch woofers stop at 400 Hz, a dedicated 6.5-inch midrange carries the whole voice range, then the tweeter module takes over. Handing the voice to a single driver across nearly three octaves is what separates this cabinet from 2.5-way designs.
Response reaches down to 29 Hz at plus or minus 3 dB, with no subwoofer. The cabinet is 1310 mm tall and 554 mm deep, and weighs 64 kg each: that mass is what holds this bass without the enclosure joining in. DALI recommends 35 to 120 cm of clearance from the rear wall.
A 4 ohm nominal impedance and 88 dB sensitivity ask for an amplifier that holds the load. The speaker takes up to 500 W and reaches 112 dB at one metre. The terminal accepts bi-wiring, with jumpers supplied.
Real wood veneer then piano lacquer, assembled by DALI in Denmark. Four finishes: black, white, walnut and maroon, all with the Shadow Black grille. Magnetic spike feet come per pair.
