The 804 D5 brings the reference performance of the 800 Series Diamond into a floorstanding speaker of more conventional size. It is aimed at listeners who want large-scale sound without giving up floor space.
The diamond dome tweeter sits in the signature Tweeter-on-Top housing, decoupled from the cabinet. It carries the high frequencies with a precision and an openness few speakers of this size reach.
The 130 mm Continuum cone is carried in an aluminium midrange housing new to this model. The midrange is isolated from the bass, and voices gain directly in intelligibility.
Two 165 mm Aerofoil bass drivers are rigidly mounted in a reverse-wrap cabinet, stabilised by an optimised plinth with tuned mass damping. The 804 D5 plays with remarkable clarity and precision. Four finishes are available: Stealth Black, Warm White, Light Walnut and Dark Walnut.
