The 803 D5 is the most compact model of the 800 Series Diamond to carry the signature Turbine Head configuration. Its reduced proportions bring Bowers & Wilkins reference performance within reach of a wider range of listening rooms.
The diamond dome tweeter is mounted in a Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top machined from the solid. Isolated from the cabinet, it carries the treble without colouration up to 28 kHz.
The Matrix reinforced by the Space Frame Bracing is completed by an aluminium top plate fitted with a damping ring. The cabinet goes mechanically quiet, and the soundstage gains in stability.
Two 180 mm Aerofoil cones, with carbon fibre skins and a variable-profile foam core, reach down to 16 Hz at -6 dB. The 803 D5 makes no trade-off between performance and integration. Four finishes are available: Stealth Black, Warm White, Light Walnut and Dark Walnut.
