The Raptor Vocal is the centre speaker of the Raptor family. It sits below the screen or in a cabinet and brings dialogue to the centre of the image. It pairs with the towers, the satellite speakers and the wall-mounted speakers of the range, in black or white finish.
A 25 mm soft dome reproduces the highs, and two 4-inch drivers share the mids and bass. The crossover joins them at 2600 Hz, for a response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB). With 88 dB sensitivity and 4 to 8 ohm impedance, it suits amplifiers of 25 to 125 W.
The cabinet is wrapped in a wood-grain vinyl, with a glossy plastic front, black or white. This front resists colour variations under light, which matters for the white finish. A black grille in fine textured fabric is supplied with both finishes.
The cabinet measures 43 cm wide by 14 cm high and 16.5 cm deep, and weighs 4.5 kg. Its bass-reflex loading opens through two ports on the front. Rubber feet are supplied, and a single terminal block handles the connection.
