The CNC-machined plinth contains no plastic parts and no hollow spaces, which keeps unwanted vibrations out. Absorbing feet isolate the turntable from vibrations around it. It comes in high gloss black, satin white and walnut, and it is handmade in the Czech Republic.
The 8.6-inch arm is made from a single piece of aluminium, headshell included, which avoids the vibrations of a screwed or glued shell. Its low-friction bearings ensure precise groove tracking. Tracking force is preset to 17.5 mN at the factory.
The heavy 8 mm blasted-glass platter avoids the flaws of plastic or lightweight steel platters. The motor belt-drives an enlarged sub-platter set in a main bearing machined to 0.001 mm, with a hardened steel axle and brass bushing. Together with the electronically controlled motor, rotation stays smooth and free of resonance.
The turntable comes with an Ortofon OM10 moving-magnet cartridge, fitted and adjusted. Its elliptical diamond brings out fine groove detail. The Connect it E phono cable, semi-balanced, shielded and low in capacitance, is designed by Pro-Ject for turntables.
