Sony proprietary technology, the magnetic circuit Sigma (Sigma) increases the magnetic force of the voice coil for deep and powerful bass. Conversely, conventional circuits waste most of this magnetic force. Another Sony proprietary technology, Separated Notch Edge improves vertical amplitude symmetry. The concentric notches at the diaphragm edge allow for control of pressure inside and outside the diaphragm perimeter.
