Down-Firing Bass

The active 10-inch driver fires at the floor, and two 10-inch passive radiators work on the sides. This layout gets the bass out of the cabinet without a port, so without the air noise a port makes at high levels. Response reaches down to 24 Hz at plus or minus 3 dB.

500 Watts

The amplifier gives 300 W RMS continuous and 500 W maximum, for 112 dB at one metre. Maximum power draw is 550 W. This is the range's subwoofer for listening rooms and dedicated home cinemas.

Two Passive Radiators

The side passive radiators face each other and work in opposition: their mechanical reactions largely cancel, which limits cabinet movement. The low-pass filter adjusts from 40 to 120 Hz, and the RCA inputs take filtered stereo or mono LFE.

Lacquered Cabinet

370 x 340 x 340 mm for 19.5 kg. Both finishes are lacquered, black and white, a presentation that sits with the Rubikore and Epikore ranges rather than with a discreet add-on subwoofer.
