Twelve-Inch Woofer

The SUB E-12 F carries a 12-inch long-throw driver with an aluminium cone. The larger diameter moves more air for the same excursion, which keeps the driver further from its limits at a given level. Response reaches down to 28 Hz at plus or minus 3 dB.

112 dB at One Metre

The built-in amplifier gives 170 W RMS continuous and 220 W maximum. Maximum output reaches 112 dB at one metre, one decibel more than the SUB E-9 F for nine hertz more extension. This is the choice for a room above thirty square metres.

Controls

The low-pass filter covers 40 to 120 Hz. The RCA inputs take filtered stereo or mono LFE, at a 25 kilohm input impedance. Maximum power consumption is 250 W.

Cabinet

370 x 340 x 380 mm for 15.3 kg: the cabinet stays movable while keeping enough mass not to vibrate. Two satin finishes, black and white, with a magnetic grille.
