AKM4497 in dual mono

Each channel has its own AKM4497 converter, fed by a dedicated 25 W linear block. An OCXO clock paces the whole digital section. The analogue outputs are offered on balanced XLR and on RCA.

Disc ripping

A slot-loading optical drive rips CDs straight into the library, with no computer. The Nimbie automatic loader is supported for batch archiving. The resulting files join the 10 TB internal drive.

Analogue and digital connections

The dedicated audio USB output feeds an external DAC up to 768 kHz at 32 bits, DSD512 included. The XLR and RCA sockets go straight to an amplifier. The linear supply gives 50 W to the processor and 25 W to the headphone stage.

Storage and cache

A 10 TB drive in 3.5-inch format holds the music library. A 480 GB NVMe drive is reserved for the system and memory playback. The 8.8-inch colour screen shows the artwork and the track playing.
