Aurender A15 music server in silver, front panel

Dual-mono converter section

The A15 gives each channel its own AKM4490 converter with a dedicated 25 W supply. Outputs are offered on unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR. Connection to an amplifier needs no stage in between.

The same model in black, colour screen lit

Two finishes

The chassis comes in silver and in black, machined in both cases. The front gathers the colour screen, the volume dial and the navigation keys. The feet isolate the unit from its support.

Three-quarter view, headphone output and aluminium front

Three digital inputs

Two coaxial inputs and one optical input take outside sources. The unit then serves as the DAC for the rest of the system. A dedicated audio USB output stays available.

Interior: transformers, capacitors and converter boards

Supply split by section

The linear block reserves 50 W for the processor, 25 W for each converter and 25 W for the logic board. That split keeps the sections apart from one another. Two 2.5-inch bays take the storage.
