25 cm HELD woofer

The 25 cm HELD woofer allows 30 mm of linear excursion. An amplifier rated at 1000 W RMS, 2000 W peak, drives it from 14 to 180 Hz. Cabasse states 100 dB in mono and 112 dB peak.

Built-in DEAP profiles

The Pearl Sub holds the optimised profiles of the iO3, Riga 2 and Baltic 5 speakers. Its patented DEAP technology adapts the digital signal to the model connected and is switched on in a few clicks in the StreamCONTROL app, on iOS and Android. The subwoofer thus replaces the separate amplifier of a 2.1 system.

Amplification for the speakers

At the rear, 4 carbon terminals feed the speakers with 300 W RMS per channel, 600 W peak. The Cabasse spec sheet lists as compatible the iO 1, 2 and 3, the Riga 1 and 2, the Baltic 4 and 5, the Minorca MC40 and the Murano. A built-in microphone measures the room for CRCS automatic correction.

Streaming and chrome stand

The subwoofer connects over Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB, with an S/PDIF optical input and an RCA input, and plays MP3, AAC, WMA, AIFF, FLAC and ALAC files through a 768 kHz / 32-bit DAC. It gives access to Qobuz, Deezer, Spotify, Napster and Tidal and joins the StreamCONTROL multiroom. Its 20 kg sphere, finished in four coats of matt paint, sits on a cut, bent and chrome-plated steel stand.
