Uni-Core motor

Two back-to-back drivers cancel their own vibration: the cabinet does not shake, only the air moves. Uni-Core takes the idea further by having both diaphragms share a single motor, with concentric voice coils that overlap. Excursion gains what volume loses, and the cabinet comes down to 246 × 256 × 248 mm — the size of a basketball.

Eleven hertz

11 Hz sits below the threshold of hearing: at that frequency you no longer make out a note, you feel a pressure. The KC62 curve reaches it at ±3 dB and rises again to 200 Hz, which leaves room to cross over with any bookshelf speaker. Maximum output tops out at 105 dB.

One thousand watts

Two 500 W Class D stages each feed their own driver, giving 1000 W RMS in a 14 kg cabinet. That power is not there to play loud but to hold both diaphragms exactly where the signal asks for them, including when they travel in opposite directions. The low-pass filter adjusts from 40 to 140 Hz, with an LFE mode for home cinema.

Inputs and outputs

The rear panel brings together an RCA phono input, a speaker-level input and a line output with its own high-pass filter, adjustable from 40 to 120 Hz and bypassable. Three finishes are offered: Carbon Black, Mineral White, Titanium Grey.
